"Solid Alternatives to Popular Software"
I was a bit taken aback by the negative feedback here.
I've been using Paintshop Pro for a couple of years and just upgraded to the 2021 Pro Ultimate version. I’m not a heavy user, just enjoy playing around with it.
I managed to snag a copy of Wordperfect Office Professional at a super low price through my University. Overall, I’m quite pleased with it. However, I can't quite give it a full five stars for a couple of reasons:
1) I really wish they would refresh the toolbar. It feels a bit old-fashioned. I’m not too fussed about it, but I do appreciate the modern look of other software.
2) It would be awesome to see better integration with cloud services like OneDrive, Google Drive, pCloud, etc. I use pCloud for my storage, and while it works fine on my computers since I can link directly to the cloud drive, having in-software support would be a big plus.
Also... seriously, please consider making an Android app. I’m not a fan of using WP on my computers and something different on my mobile. A standalone email program would be nice too, and it would be great to have a fully integrated software suite.
If you find any of their software on sale, go for it. It can be a bit on the expensive side, but it’s a solid alternative to Office 365 for anyone interested.
